- This effect activates when "Mermail Abyssnose" destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard (= at the end of the Damage Step).[1]
- This effect does not target.[1]
- Discarding 1 WATER monster to the Graveyard is the cost to activate this effect.[1]
- This effect cannot be activated if "Mermail Abyssnose" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed.[1]
