- Since the effect of "Naturia Cliff" is an optional Trigger Effect, it will miss the timing if used as (includes but is not limited to):
- Tribute for a Tribute Summon
- Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon
- Sent to the Graveyard as a Cost for an effect
- Sent to the Graveyard during Chain link 2 or higher[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Naturia Cliff" which Special Summons a monster from the Deck can be activated during the Damage Step.[2]
- If "Naturia Cliff" is sent from the field to the Graveyard while it is an Equip Card due to an effect like "Relinquished" or "Destiny HERO - Plasma", then you can activate the effect of "Naturia Cliff" and Special Summon from your Deck one Level 4 or lower "Naturia" monster in face-up Attack Position.[3]
