Card Rulings:Shadow of Eyes
OCG Rulings
Mentions in Other Rulings
- A Flip Effect Monster is an Effect Monster with "FLIP:" in its text. "Nightmare Penguin" and "Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo" lack this text, so they are not Flip Effect Monsters. Thus, when a face-down "Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo" is flipped by "Ceasefire", its effect will activate.[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise.
