Card Rulings:Shift
OCG Rulings
- If you chain "Call of the Haunted" to your "Shift", then a replay does NOT occur. This is because "Shift" redirects the attack.[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. Mentions in Other Rulings
- Command Knight: If you control a "Command Knight" and another monster, and your opponent attacks the other monster, you can use "Shift" to select "Command Knight" as the new attack target.
- Creature Swap: The opponent cannot chain..."Shift" to "Creature Swap" because it does not target...
- Dark Necrofear: ..."Shift" cannot be used when "Dark Necrofear" first becomes an Equip Spell Card and is equipped to your opponent's monster.
