TCG Rulings
- You can send a face-down Normal Monster to the Graveyard to activate this card.
- You can Special Summon the same monster you sent to the Graveyard for this card's cost with its effect.
OCG Rulings
- If "Evoltector Chevalier" is Special Summoned by an Equip Spell Card like "Symbols of Duty", then you can send "Symbols of Duty" to the Graveyard to activate the effect of "Evoltector Chevalier", and the opponent's monster will still be destroyed even though "Evoltector Chevalier" will also be destroyed.[1]
