OCG Rulings

  • The effect does not target.[1]
  • Negating the activations of your opponent's Spell/Trap Cards and monster effects activated before this card in the Chain, and shuffling the negated cards on the field into the Deck, are considered to happen at the same time.[1]

Q&A Rulings

  • Q: If the Chain in which "Tachyon Transmigration" was activated includes effects of Effect Monsters activated outside the field, or the activation of Spell/Trap Cards' effects, what happens?
A: If the Chain in which "Tachyon Transmigration" was activated includes effects of Effect Monsters activated outside of the field (hand or Graveyard), the activation of those Effect Monsters' effects are also negated. However, they are not returned to the Deck. (Only negated cards on the field are returned to the Deck.) Also, if the Chain in which "Tachyon Transmigration" was activated includes the activation of Spell/Trap Cards' effects, such as the effect of "Breakthrough Skill" that activates in the Graveyard, the activation of those effects are not negated. (The activation of your opponent's Effect Monsters' effects and the activation of your opponent's Spell/Trap Cards are negated as usual.) "Tachyon Transmigration" can only negate the activation of Spell/Trap Cards, not the activation of Spell/Trap Cards' effects.[2]
