OCG Rulings

  • After this card is Special Summoned, if it is sent to the Graveyard, it cannot be Special Summoned with "Monster Reborn".[1]
  • The effect "Unaffected by other cards' effects" is a Continuous Effect. (It is applied while this card is face-up on the Monster Zone. It is unaffected by both players' effects.)[1]
  • The effect "Once per battle, if this card battles, during damage calculation (in either player's turn): You can make this card's ATK and DEF become equal to the ATK of the monster on the field with the highest ATK (your choice, if tied)" is a Quick Effect. (It does not target. The ATK and DEF gained by this effect remains as long as this card remains face-up on the Monster Zone.)[1]
  • The effect "When this card is destroyed by battle: You can Special Summon 3 "Legendary Knight" monsters from your hand, Deck, and/or Graveyard, ignoring their Summoning conditions" is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target. It can be activated at the end of the Damage Step in which "Timaeus the Knight of Destiny" was destroyed by battle.)[1]

Q&A Rulings

A: In this scenario, since the effect of "Outer Entity Azathot" prevents your opponent from activating monster effects, the effect of "Timaeus the Knight of Destiny" cannot be activated.[2]
