- If "Imperial Order" is removed from the field and "Venom Swamp" and "Ring of Magnetism" simultaneously reduce a monster's ATK to 0, then whichever card was played last is considered to be the card which reduces the monster's ATK to 0.[1]
- If "Venom Swamp" is on the field and "Ring of Magnetism" is equipped to a monster, then the monster is considered to have its ATK reduced to 0 by "Ring of Magnetism".[1]
- If "Ring of Magnetism" is equipped to a monster and afterwards "Venom Swamp" is activated, then the monster is considered to have its ATK reduced to 0 by "Venom Swamp". Therefore, the monster is destroyed by "Venom Swamp".[1]
- The effect of "Reptilianne Scylla" can only be activated if the destroyed monster had 0 ATK during Damage Calculation.[2]
- Example #1: If the monster had 0 Original ATK but had its ATK increased by a Field Spell Card, then its ATK was not 0 during Damage Calculation, so it cannot be Special Summoned by the effect of "Reptilianne Scylla".[2]
- Example #2: If a monster had 500 Original ATK and was equipped with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" so that it had 0 ATK, then its ATK was 0 during Damage Calculation, so it can be Special Summoned by the effect of "Reptilianne Scylla" even though it has 500 ATK while in the Graveyard.[2]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - Sending a card to the Graveyard is a cost.
- If the first attack of a monster equipped with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" is negated by "Magic Cylinder", the monster can still perform the second attack.
- When you declare the second attack of a monster equipped with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce", and the "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" is destroyed during the Battle Step with "Mystical Space Typhoon", the monster is no longer capable of performing the second attack, and a replay occurs.
- If a monster that normally attacks twice like "Hayabusa Knight", "Gray Wing", or "Tyrant Dragon" is equipped with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce", it doesn't get a third attack.
- You can equip "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" to "Injection Fairy Lily" and you can use her effect for each attack.
- If "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" is equipped to a monster affected by "Diffusion Wave-Motion", it can only attack twice.
- If "Dark Blade" equipped with "Kiryu" is also equipped with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce", and attacks twice, and "Kiryu" is then "detached" with "Combination Attack", "Dark Blade" can attack 1 more time (not 2 more times).
- If "Airknight Parshath" is equipped with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" and attacks twice, you can draw twice.

- Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler: If your "Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler" is equipped with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" while its heads effect is applied, you will choose which effect to use when you attack twice. - Armed Samurai - Ben Kei: If you equip "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" to "Armed Samurai - Ben Kei", it can only attack twice, not three times (unless equipped with more cards).
- Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning: Even if you equip him with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce", "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" only gets a maximum of 2 attacks.
