I have a friend that dueled me yesterday, and we got into a n argument about horn of heaven. I used that card against my friend, but after words he tried to summon again, saying since horn of heaven negates the summoning, he can summon something else. - "Horn of Heaven" cannot negate the effects of cards. Nowhere on the card does it say that it can negate an effect. When you activate "Premature Burial",
- Chain Link 1: "Premature Burial"
- (At this time, "Horn of Heaven" cannot be activated. If you tried, then it would attempt to negate the activation of a Spell Card, which "Horn of Heaven" cannot do.)

You can´t because is in a middle of resolving the Spell Card´s effect, you can´t activate it because to Special Summon the monster is the entire effect of Premature Burial and ends until is complete Special Summoned to Field... So, when the monster touch the Field, (by the effect of a card) it will be too late to activate Horn of Heaven. Then do will happend the same when I try to active by example Bottomless Trap Hole?? Thanks Deus Ex Machina.
- The difference is, "Bottomless Trap Hole" is activated after the Summon is successful, and "Horn of Heaven" is activated before the Summon is successful.
