- This card can be searched by "Dogu", "Single Purchase", "Chaofeng, Illusion of the Yang Zing", "Serpentine Princess", "Vampire Dragon", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Tour Guide From the Underworld", "Rai-Mei", "Stygian Security", "Resonator Call", "Shining Angel", "One for One", "Where Arf Thou?", "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing", "Photon Veil", "Chaos Zone" and "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World".
- If you control a Tuner, you can discard this card during your own turn not only to protect your Tuner, but to set up cards like "Resonator Engine" and "Chaos Sorcerer".
- This is the easiest Resonator to use with "Resonant Destruction". Plenty of Level 1 non-Tuners can Special Summon themselves at little or no cost ("Boost Warrior", "Level Eater", "Turbo Booster"), allowing you to Synchro Summon Formula Synchron" or "T.G. Recipro Dragonfly" with ease.
- You can keep "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind" on the field for multiple turns with this card and "Blackwing - Jetstream the Blue Sky".
- You can Normal Summon "Kinka-byo" to revive this card from your Graveyard and Synchro Summon "Formula Synchron".
- This can be followed up with "Inferno Reckless Summon". In conjunction with "Quillbolt Hedgehog", you'll be able to bring out "Formula", then "Armory Arm", then a Level 5 Synchro, then a Level 6 Synchro. Combine with "Resonant Destruction" and/or "T.G. Hyper Librarian" (this is most useful when "Inferno Reckless Summon" is used on a Nomi or Limited monster). Alternately, Synchro Summon "X-Saber Wayne" and use the Summoned Warrior for a different Synchro.
- Normal Summon "Debris Dragon" and Special Summon this card. Then, chain "Inferno Reckless Summon" with "Doppelwarrior". Synchro Summon "Iron Chain Dragon", then use the Tokens and the Resonators for two "Formula Synchron". Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon", then "Shooting Star Dragon". Again, combine with "Resonant Destruction" and/or "T.G. Hyper Librarian". Since you'll have a spare Resonator, adding a Level 1 non-Tuner results in "Shooting Quasar Dragon".
- Attack a monster that has high ATK with "Turbo Rocket" after using this card to inflict Effect Damage without taking Battle Damage.
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest" and "Last Will".
