- You can still Normal Summon monsters the turn you activate this card.
- This makes this card ideal for decks that rely on monsters requiring multiple Tributes, such as "Light and Darkness Dragon" or the "Egyptian God" monsters.
- As this card is a Quick-Play Spell Card, use it during your opponent's turn to overcome its drawbacks.
- Then during your turn you can easily Special Summon "Atlantean Dragon Poseidra".
- Summon 3 Spined Gillman with this card's effect, granting you 3 2500 Atk monsters, since Gillman boosts the ATK of every Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-type monsters you control.
- Combined with Atlantean Dragon Rider, you can deal 7500 points of Direct Attack Damage using the above combo.
- You can use "Atlantean Assaultman" to similar effect.
- If "A Legendary Ocean" is on the field, you can attack directly with "Atlantean Dragon Rider" too, since it is treated as Level 3.
- Combined with Atlantean Dragon Rider, you can deal 7500 points of Direct Attack Damage using the above combo.
