- Call of the Mummy is absolutely useful in a Zombie Deck. The fact that it will allow you to Special Summon high level Zombie monsters from your hand on your 1st turn without a cost other than the fact that you must have no monsters on your side of the field makes it a formidable card.
- This card combos well with Dark Dust Spirit. Simply summon any Zombie monster and then tribute it for Dark Dust Spirit, clearing your opponent's field.
- Given that you have the proper cards in your hand, it is possible to use this card to bring out Vampire Genesis by Special Summoning Vampire Lord, and then Tributing him, and you can still perform a Normal Summon.
- The strongest monster that this card can summon is Despair from the Dark, at 2800 ATK, making it valuable indeed.
- Use this card to Special Summon Il Blud, Normal Summon it, then have it Special Summon another high-level zombie from your hand (or Graveyard) for a potent double-whammy.
- Use this card to Special Summon a Zombie monster, while having "Everliving Underworld Cannon" on your side of the field to inflict 800 damage to your opponent. Then tribute that monster to Summon Dark Dust Spirit, which has the ability to destroy all monsters on both sides of the field except itself, leaving your opponet to a direct attack.
- If you summon Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower with this card's effect, bring two more onto the field with Inferno Reckless Summon to prevent your opponent from attacking. This only works if your opponent controls a monster(s).
