• This card can be searched by "Soul Servant", "Dark Magic Inheritance", "Magician's Rod", "Quick Booster", "Spell Calling", "Mecha Phantom Beast Jaculuslan", and other generic searchers.

• As "Dedication through Light and Darkness" is a Quick-Play Spell Card, you can first attack with "Dark Magician", and then play "Dedication through Light and Darkness" (even from your hand) and be able to also attack with "Dark Magician of Chaos" during the same Battle Phase.
  • If you control "Eternal Soul", you can Special Summon "Dark Magician" from the Graveyard, letting "Dark Magician" attack one more time.

• Use "Silent Doom", "Ancient Rules", "Birthright", or "Dark Magic Curtain" to get "Dark Magician" on the field more easily.
