Card Tips:Desperate Tag
- This card can be searched by "A Cat of Ill Omen" and "The Despair Uranus".
- This card can form the backbone of a Warrior Special Summon deck, along with "Limit Reverse", "Spirit Force" and "Reinforce Truth".
- Use "Shift" to cause your opponent to attack a different Attack Position monster when you have "Marauding Captain" on the field and you will be able to Special Summon another "Marauding Captain" for an Attack Lock.
- This card can be very useful in a "Six Samurai" Deck. Just by using the effect of "The Six Samurai - Zanji" you can destroy 1 monster without damage and fill the lost presence of the destroyed "Samurai".
- Also you can use it with "Shien's Footsoldier" to Special Summon 2 "Six Samurai" to the Field.
- Use this card with "D.D. Warrior Lady" to remove one of your opponents monsters from play while taking no damage. Then, you can Special Summon another one or a strong Level 4 Warrior like "Evocator Chevalier" to attack them again.
- This card works with "Elemental Hero Stratos" as he can use the effect of "Desperate Tag" to Special summon him and set up for the effect again.
- Use this card to Special Summon "Silent Swordsman LV3" at the end of your opponent's Battle Phase, so that you may immediately Special Summon "Silent Swordsman LV5" when your turn starts.
- If your opponent has several more monsters that can attack the turn you use this card's effect, Special Summon "Fortress Warrior" to absorb a few more attacks.
- Special Summon "Zero Gardna" or "Gauntlet Warrior" and immediately Tribute them to activate their effects.
- Use this card with "Mystic Swordsman LV2", and Special Summon "Mystic Swordsman LV4" to get around his need for a Special Summon.

- Use this card with "Colossal Fighter", since this monster keeps reviving itself, you can Special Summon all the Level 4 or lower warriors in your hand.
- You can use this card with "Daybreaker" to Special Summon up to three copies for either a Synchro or Xyz Summon.
- If you have another Warrior monster on the field, "Marauding Captain" and "Command Knight" are good cards to Special Summon through this card. If you have a Plant type monster on the field, Summon "Twilight Rose Knight" for an easy Synchro Summon.
