- This card can be searched by "The Legendary Fisherman II", "Mega Fortress Whale", "Ice Barrier", "Crystal Girl", "Isolde, Two Tales of the Noble Knights", "Infernoble Knight Captain Roland", and other generic searchers.
- Use "Feast of the Wild LV5" to Special Summon "The Legendary Fisherman" from your hand or Graveyard, so it can easily be Tributed to Summon this monster.
- "The Legendary Fisherman" can also be Normal Summoned without Tribute with "A Legendary Ocean".
- This card can also be Special Summoned with "A Wild Monster Appears!".
- Tribute Set or Normal Set "The Legendary Fisherman", and then Tribute it for this card. Your opponent will not be able to respond to your set with cards like "Bottomless Trap Hole" and when this card is on the field successfully Summoned, it is unaffected by such cards.
