- "Generation Shift" can be used to trigger the Manticore of Darkness loop.
- Generation Shift will work extremely well with Crystal Beast, because it says 'destroy' not 'Tribute', and so moves your chosen Crystal Beast to the back row, and gives you another.
- This card works well with the first two forms of "Yubel".
- This card works well with "Sacred Phoenix of Nephtys".
- Use this card with "Venominom the King of Poisonous Snakes" and "Rise of the Snake Deity" to Summon "Venominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes".
