* If you use two copies of "Birdman", "[[Imperial Iron Wall]]" and "[[Cyber Summon Blaster]]", you can create an infinite Burn combo. While you have both traps face-up, Normal Summon one "Birdman", then Special Summon the second by returning the first to your hand. Then, Special Summon the first by returning the second to your hand. Because "Imperial Iron Wall" prevents "Birdman" from removing itself from play, it will return to your hand as normal. This allows you to Special Summon each Birdman as many times as you need for "Cyber Summon Blaster" to reduce your opponent's Life Points to zero.

* Use this card to return "[[Machina Fortress]]" to your hand and "[[Synchro Summon]]" with "[[Machina Gearframe]]" or one of the "[[Gadget]]s" for a Level 7. That way "[[Machina Fortress]]" can be Summoned from your hand at any time. "[[Karakuri Shogun mdl 00 "Burei"]]" or "[[Black Rose Dragon]]" should be your first choices for [[Machina]] [[Gadget]]s and [[Chimeratech OTK]], respectively. The former preserves "[[Solidarity]]", while the latter will prevent your opponent from blocking your "[[Chimeratech Overdragon]]" with Trap Cards, and your field would be wiped after using "[[Overload Fusion]]" anyways. Even with only "[[Cyber Dragon]]" and "[[Machina Gearframe]]" in the Graveyard, as long as you can drop "[[Machina Fortress]]", you will OTK.

* This card works well in a [[X-Saber]] Deck to re-use the effects of "[[XX-Saber Boggart Knight]]", "[[XX-Saber Ragigura]]", and especially "[[XX-Saber Faultroll]]". After reviving a monster with "Faultroll", you can bounce it for "Birdman", then re-Summon "Faultroll" and use its effect again. With two Level 3 non-Tuner "[[X-Saber]]" monsters, you can Synchro for [[Mist Wurm]], [[XX-Saber Gottoms]] or [[Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier]]. Combine with "[[XX-Saber Darksoul]]" to get multiple "Faultroll" quickly.

  • Combine this card with monster stealing cards like "Enemy Controller", "Mind Control", etc. Swipe their monster, then return it to their hand while summoning a Tuner with up to 1900 ATK.
  • You can use this card to recycle the effects of Effect monsters that only activate when they are Tribute Summoned by returning the Tribute Summoned monster to your hand, whereupon you can Normal Summon it again with this card as Tribute. (This combo can be used with Monarchs or "Dark Dust Spirit").
  • Use this card with "Mist Valley Thunderbird", which will Special Summon itself and give "Birdman" an extra 500 ATK.
  • This card works well with "Phantom Skyblaster", since its effect allows you to summon Level 4 Tokens up to the number of Monsters you control. After Normal Summoning "Skyblaster", bounce it to Special Summon "Birdman" and then perform a Level 7 Synchro Summon.
  • Special Summon this card by its own effect, then discard the monster returned to your hand for the effect of "Genex Ally Axel", allowing you to Special Summon a monster of the Level appropriate for a needed Synchro. This will allow you to Synchro Summon a monster between Levels 4 and 7.
  • If you use two copies of "Birdman", "Imperial Iron Wall" and "Cyber Summon Blaster", you can create an infinite Burn combo. While you have both traps face-up, Normal Summon one "Birdman", then Special Summon the second by returning the first to your hand. Then, Special Summon the first by returning the second to your hand. Because "Imperial Iron Wall" prevents "Birdman" from banishing itself, it will return to your hand as normal. This allows you to Special Summon each "Birdman" as many times as you need for "Cyber Summon Blaster" to reduce your opponent's Life Points to zero.
    • You can also use the above combination with "Spring of Rebirth" for an infinite life point gain.
  • This card works well in a "Monarch" Deck.
  • This card works really well with "Reborn Tengu". Normal Summon your "Tengu", then return it to the hand with "Birdman". With this combo, you can make a Level 7 Synchro (which will get another "Tengu") and still have one in hand to work with later.
  • This card can be used in conjunction with "Dragunity Dux" and "Dragunity Phalanx" where you can swap out "Phalanx" to Synchro Summon a Level 7 monster instead.
  • Special Summon "Level Warrior" with its own effect, and then bounce it back for this card. Then Normal Summon "Level Warrior" again for a quick level 6 Synchro Summon or Rank 3 Xyz Summon.
  • When you have a monster in your Graveyard, you can use Monster Reborn to retrieve that monster, return it to your hand to Special Summon this card, then Normal Summon the monster you just Reborned.
  • This card can be used to return monsters whose effects have been negated by cards such as "Effect Veiler" to the hand so that you have another shot at activating their effects the next turn.
  • This card works very well with "Junk Synchron". You can Normal Summon "Junk Synchron", use its effect to Special Summon a Level 2 or lower monster from your Graveyard, then bounce Junk Synchron for this card to be able to use Junk Synchron's effect again later.
