• Instead of banishing 3 cards with this card's first effect, "Alviss of the Nordic Alfar" can be the only card banished, which will trigger that monster's effect to Special Summon an "Aesir" monster from the Extra Deck.
  • While this combo uses less cards, "Alviss" does not treat its Special Summon of the "Aesir" monster as a Synchro Summon, so that "Aesir" monster cannot be Special Summoned back from the GY afterwards.

• "Hippo Carnival" can be activated in response to the activation of this card's first effect, Special Summoning 3 "Hippo Tokens" to be banished by this card's effect and effectively losing no card advantage.

• A good combination of "Nordic" monsters to Special Summon with this card is "Nordic Beast Gullinbursti", "Nordic Smith Ivaldi", and any Level 3 non-Tuner "Nordic" monster, such as "Tanngnjostr of the Nordic Beasts". The effect of "Gullinbursti" can retrieve from the GY the "Nordic" monster used to Link Summon this card, the effect of "Ivaldi" can search any "Nordic Relic" card, and after that, all 3 monsters can be used to Synchro Summon any of the three "Aesir" monsters.
  • Since an "Aesir" monster can be Synchro Summoned afterward, "Nordic Relic Svalinn" is a powerful option to add via "Ivaldi", as it requires its controller to control an "Aesir" in order to utilize its negation effect.

• As a Link-1 monster with a pivotal effect that activates when Link Summoned, this card can benefit greatly from "Link into the VRAINS!", which prevents its Summon from being negated, as well as preventing the opponent from activating any card effects in response to its Summon (which includes responding to its effect).
