"The☆Lugh! The☆Lugh!" is the thirty-eighth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. It first aired in Japan on December 18, 2022.
The☆Lugh releases a massive amount of negative energy, which can potentially engulf the whole universe. Yuna Goha and Yudias team up in order to bring The☆Lugh to justice for all the terror he’s caused! Thus begins a Tag Rush Duel with the peace of the whole universe on the line!
Featured Duel: Yudias Velgear and Yuna Goha vs The☆Lugh 1 and The☆Lugh 2
The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel. The Duel is also conducted as a Tag-Team Duel: Both pairs share fields, LP, and Graveyards.
Turn 1: The☆Lugh 1
The☆Lugh 1's hand contains "Dragon Double-Doom", two copies of "Zero Drake" and two copies of "One-Horned Iceberg Dragon". The☆Lugh 1 Normal Summons two copies of "Zero Drake" (0/1500). The☆Lugh 1 Tributes both copies of "Zero Drake" to Tribute Summon two copies of "One-Horned Iceberg Dragon" (2100/400). The☆Lugh 1 Sets "Dragon Double-Doom" in his Spell & Trap Zone.
Turn 2: Yudias
Yudias's hand contains "Transamu Rainac", "Greystorm Reverie", "Cosmo Predictor", "Galactiara Eve" and "Heavy Storm". Yudias activates the Spell Card "Heavy Storm" to destroy all Spell/Trap Cards on the field. Yudias destroys The☆Lugh 1's face-down "Dragon Double-Doom". Yudias Normal Summons "Galactiara Eve" (0/0). As Yudias has no other monsters on his field, he activates the effect of "Galactiara Eve", sending a Galaxy Type monster with 1600 or more ATK from his hand to the Graveyard to send it from his field to the Graveyard and draw a card, then if he has three or less monsters in his Graveyard, he draws a card. Yudias sends "Greystorm Reverie" from his hand to the Graveyard and sends "Galactiara Eve" from his field to the Graveyard, draws "Galactica Mining", then draws "Shining Guard". Yudias Normal Summons "Cosmo Predictor" (600/0). As "Cosmo Predictor" was Normal Summoned this turn and Yudias has no other monsters on his field, he activates its effect to add a Level 8 Galaxy Type monster from his Graveyard to his hand, then this turn treat it as two Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a "Greystorm Reverie" in Attack Position. Yudias adds "Greystorm Reverie" from his Graveyard to his hand. Yudias Tributes "Cosmo Predictor" to Tribute Summon "Greystorm Reverie" (2500/2000). Yudias Sets "Galactica Mining" in his Spell & Trap Zone. Yudias activates the effect of "Greystorm Reverie", sending another card from his field to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 500 until the end of this turn, then if no Spell/Trap Cards are on the field, it can make up to two attacks on monsters during this turn. Yudias sends his face-down "Galactica Mining" from his field to the Graveyard ("Greystorm Reverie": 2500/2000 → 3000/2000). Yudias Sets "Shining Guard" and "Dead or Arainac" in his Spell & Trap Zones. "Greystorm Reverie" attacks and destroys both copies of "One-Horned Iceburg Dragon" (The☆Lugh 1/The☆Lugh 2: 4000 → 3100 → 2200 LP). As Yudias ends his turn, the ATK of "Greystorm Reverie" returns to normal ("Greystorm Reverie": 3000/2000 → 2500/2000).
Turn 3: The☆Lugh 2
The☆Lugh 2's hand contains "The Cancel", "Vice Slasher", "Double-Doom Dragon", "Ray Dragon" and "Pot of Greed". The☆Lugh 2 activates "Pot of Greed" to draw two cards. The☆Lugh 2 draws "The Copy" and "The Dragias". The☆Lugh 2 Normal Summons "Ray Dragon" (1500/0) and "Double-Doom Dragon" (200/200). The☆Lugh 2 activates the effect of "Double-Doom Dragon", sending the top two cards of his Deck to the Graveyard to gain 200 LP, then he can Set a "Dragon Double-Doom" from his Graveyard in his Spell & Trap Zone. The☆Lugh 2 sends "The Burn" and "The Dragias" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard (The☆Lugh 1/The☆Lugh 2: 2200 → 2400 LP), then Sets "Dragon Double-Doom" from his Graveyard in his Spell & Trap Zone. The☆Lugh 2 Tributes "Ray Dragon" and "Double-Doom Dragon" to Tribute Summon "The Dragias" (2500/1500). As Yudias has a face-up Level 7 or higher monster on his field, The☆Lugh 2 activates the Spell Card "The Copy" to choose a face-up Normal Monster on his field, then Special Summon a Normal Monster with the same name as that monster from his Graveyard face-up to his field. The☆Lugh 2 chooses "The Dragias", then Special Summons a second "The Dragias" (2500/1500) from his Graveyard in Attack Position. As The☆Lugh 2 has two or more face-up Dragon Type monsters with the same name on his field, he activates the Equip Spell Card "Vice Slasher", equipping it to one of them to increase its ATK by its original ATK, but it cannot attack directly. The☆Lugh 2 equips "Vice Slasher" to the first "The Dragias" ("The Dragias": 2500/1500 → 5000/1500). The☆Lugh 2 Sets "The Cancel" in his Spell & Trap Zone. The first "The Dragias" attacks and destroys "Greystorm Reverie" (Yudias/Yuna: 4000 → 1500 LP). The second "The Dragias" attacks Yudias directly. As The☆Lugh 2's monster declared a direct attack, Yudias activates his face-down Trap Card "Dead or Arainac" to gain 800 LP, then draw a card and show it, and if that card is a Galaxy Type Normal Monster with 1600 or more ATK, the attack is negated. Yudias gains 800 LP (Yudias/Yuna: 1500 → 2300 LP), then draws and shows "Rainac".
Turn 4: Yuna
Yuna's hand contains "Sparkhearts Girl", "Straynge Cat", "Spell Arsenal" and "Amazing Dealer". Yuna draws "Magician's Valkyria". Yuna Normal Summons "Magician's Valkyria" (1600/1800).
At this point, Yuna collapses from exhaustion and is unable to continue the Duel, so That Guy takes her place.
That Guy Normal Summons "Amazing Dealer" (0/1000). As That Guy has three or less monsters in his Graveyard, he activates the effect of "Amazing Dealer", paying 300 LP to send three cards from his hand to the Graveyard, then draw three cards. That Guy pays 300 LP (Yudias/That Guy: 2300 → 2000 LP) and sends "Sparkhearts Girl", "Spell Arsenal" and "Straynge Cat" from his hand to the Graveyard, then draws "Sevens Road Magician", "Swordsman of Roadstar" and "Fusion". That Guy Normal Summons "Swordsman of Roadstar" (1200/500). That Guy Tributes "Amazing Dealer" and "Magician's Valkyria" to Tribute Summon "Magician" (2100/1500). That Guy activates the Spell Card "Fusion" to Fusion Summon by sending face-up monsters from his field to the Graveyard as material. That Guy sends "Swordsman of Roadstar" and "Magician" from his field to the Graveyard and Fusion Summons "Sevens Paladin" (2900/2400) in Attack Position. As a face-up Level 9 or lower monster was Special Summoned to That Guy's field, The☆Lugh 2 activates his face-down Trap Card "The Cancel" to shuffle one of those monsters into the owner's Deck, then That Guy can Special Summon two monsters from his Graveyard face-up to his field, including a Level 4 or lower monster. The☆Lugh 2 shuffles "Sevens Paladin" into That Guy's Deck, then That Guy Special Summons "Magician" (2100/1500) and "Spell Arsenal" (400/1000) from his Graveyard in Attack Position.

Errors
- Yudias's hand is shown to contain "Transamu Rainac", "Greystorm Reverie", "Cosmo Predictor", "Galactiara Eve" and "Heavy Storm", but on a later shot, after he draws "Galactica Mining" and "Shining Guard" with the effect of "Galactiara Eve", "Rainac" is no longer present and is replaced with "Dead or Arainac", which also switches places with "Cosmo Predictor".
