- Use Big Bang Shot, Fairy Meteor Crush or Dragon's Rage to consistently Mill your opponent's Deck.
- You can easily Synchro Summon this Monster in a Dragon-type deck, with Magna Drago and a Level 4 Dragon like Luster Dragon.
- You could revive Totem Dragon with Debris Dragon to summon this card.
- You can easily Synchro Summon this monster with Marauding Captain's effect, first Normal Summon Marauding Captain, then Special Summon Iron Chain Coil (or lv3 tuner-monster)from your hand.
- It may be a tad dangerous to use this Monster against a Lightsworn or Zombie deck, who benefits of Mill effects, but it can also causes enemy Deck Out.
- Try combining this Monster effect with Skull Invitation, or if you wish to avoid damaging yourself, use Coffin Seller so as to damage them for all their monster cards sent to the graveyard.
- Use this card's effect while Paralyzing Chain is on the field to inflict an extra 300 Life Points of damage to your opponent. This is less risky than the effect of Skull Invitation.
- You can use any or all of the burn methods above (Skull Invitation/Coffin Seller/Paralyzing Chain) and combine them with 1 or more Dark Room of Nightmares to inflict a decent amount of damage, at the very least.
