(Still unhappy with grammer edit of Chain Destruction tip. Rewrote it entirely to be clearer to follow.)

If the effect of "Chain Destruction" resolves successfully, then activate "Karma Cut" afterwards so that it will remove the monster you don't want on the field and all monsters with the same name in the Graveyard too.

* With this card, "[[Chain Destruction]]" can be an excellent combination play but it requires great timing. When your opponent summons a monster of 2000ATK or less that is known to be played in multiples of two or more, simply activate "Chain Destruction" and once it has resolved as a new chain activate "Karma Cut" targeting the same monster you previously targeted with "Chain Destruction". This double play will clear that monster out of your opponent's deck and then finish up by removing all of them (one on the field and any in the graveyard with the same name) from play too.

  • This card works well against "Light and Darkness Dragon". Chain "Karma Cut" to the negation effect of "Light and Darkness Dragon" to remove it from play, saving yourself from anymore negation as well as preventing its third effect.
    • "Karma Cut" card will also stop your opponent from adding any copies of "Light and Darkness Dragon" from their Graveyard to their Deck with cards such as "Pot of Avarice" and "The Transmigration Prophecy".
  • This card also works well against Harpie decks. Most "Harpy"-based decks employ "Hysteric Party", which means the opponent will want to fill their Graveyard with "Harpies". By playing this, you can completely destroy that strategy.
    • Likewise, it works against Gusto decks too as they often rely on the graveyard to trigger beneficial card effects to their advantage and to set up for the summoning of "Daigusto Gulldos" and "Ultimate Axon Kicker". Be careful though as some Psychic decks may be ready for it with "Psychic Feel Zone" to use against you as a counter strategy.
  • Zombie monsters, especially "Zombie Master", "Mezuki" and "Goblin Zombie", will become their own worst enemy once this card is activated against them. The pain will increase as the Graveyard begins to accumulate more and more of these same cards.
  • With this card, "Chain Destruction" can be an excellent combination play but it requires great timing.
    • This strategy is very effective against Zombies and Gladiator Beasts, but against Gladiator Beasts you must not activate it in response to the Special Summon of "Gladiator Beast Laquari" when it has been summoned by the effect of another Gladiator Beast monster or it will miss the timing (as the last thing that happened was "Laquari" getting an ATK boost).
  • This card is an excellent way to safely remove "Wind-Up Zenmaines", "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn" and "Stardust Dragon" from the field without triggering their effects, as it does not destroy; just banish.
    • It will also work against monsters whose effects trigger when being destroyed or transfered from the field to the grave, such as "Sangan" and "Mystic Tomato" and other searchers OR monsters with effects that can protect themselves from destruction, such as "Red Nova Dragon" or "Ultimate Axon Kicker".
  • This card is also useful as a substitute of many cards, including "Raigeki Break" and also "Sakuretsu Armor", because it can't be counteracted by "Stardust Dragon", "Destruction Jammer", "Remote Revenge", etc.
    • However be aware that cards that prevent banishment by a player(s), such as "Imperial Iron Wall" and "Chaos Hunter", stop this card immediately. As do any chainable Monster Effects, Spells and Traps that will make the target be leave the field first before "Karma Cut" can banish it (thus causing it to resolve without effect as the target card is no longer on the field).
  • This card is incredibly useful against Lightsworn decks (as long as "Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid" isn't face-up on the field first) as you can chain it to almost any monster effect that deck theme can throw at you that is potentially a problem and possibly take out a number of Lightsworn effect monsters in a single hit that may have already been milled to the graveyard.
