- This card can be searched by "Single Purchase", "Temple of the Kings", "Transmodify", "Broken Blocker", "Summoner Monk", "Vampire Dragon", "Resonator Engine", "Soul Rope", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Sangan", "Rescue Ferret", "Chaos Zone", "Creeping Darkness", "Mystic Tomato", "Dark General Freed", "Dragonic Guard", "Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg", "Starliege Seyfert", "Draconnection", "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum" and "Ninjitsu Art of Super-Transformation".
- Keep in mind that the Dragon-Type monster that has to be sent to the Graveyard to Special Summon this card does not have to be your own, which can make this card good against Decks that heavily feature Dragon-Type monsters, especially "Red-Eyes" Decks.
- This card provides good stalling power in a "Red-Eyes" Deck. When "Red-Eyes Retro Dragon" or "Meteor Black Comet Dragon's" effect activates, Special Summon this card to have at least 3 Monsters on your field.
- This card works well with Gemini monsters like "Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon", since they are treated as Normal Monsters in the Graveyard.
- You can use cards like "Battle Mania" and "Savage Colosseum" to optimize when cards on the field are attacked.
- This card combos very well with "Dragon Shrine". Use it to send 1 Normal Dragon then select this as the second card. You will be able to add the Dragon sent by the effect of "Shrine" with this card's effect once an other Dragon is destroyed.
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms" and "Last Will".
- Choose "Exploder Dragon", "Deep-Eyes White Dragon", or "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon" with "Last Turn" while this card is in your Graveyard. When your chosen Monster is destroyed, summon this card from your Graveyard. Once this Monster is alone on the field, you will become the victor.
