Q&A Rulings
- Q: When "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6", which is unaffected by Spell effects, would be destroyed by battle or card effect, can I apply the second effect of "Return of the Dragon Lords" and banish it instead, or the effect of "Therion Discolosseum" and send a "Therion" card or "Endless Engine Argyro System" to the GY instead?
- A: Yes, you can. (Effects such as the second effects of "Return of the Dragon Lords" and "Therion Discolosseum", which perform another action instead of cards being destroyed, are not effects that apply to the cards that were originally supposed to be destroyed.)
- Furthermore, the effect of "Therion Discolosseum" can be applied even when the following monsters would be destroyed by battle:
- "Cannonball Spear Shellfish" while "Umi" is on the field
- "Chaos Ancient Gear Giant"
- "Deepsea Warrior" while "Umi" is on the field
- "Geomathmech Final Sigma" in the Extra Monster Zone
