- This card can be searched by "Scrap Factory", "Gear Gigant X", "Urgent Schedule", "Machina Armored Unit", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Sphere of Chaos", "Serpentine Princess", "Vampire Dragon", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- Use "DNA Surgery" to take advantage of "Machine King Prototype's" effect by making all the monsters on the field to Machine-Types.
- This is a better alternative to "Machine King", as it does not require a tribute, a decent ATK for a three star monster (you can use it with "Level Limit - Area B" or "Gravity Bind"), and has essentially the same effect.
- Use "Blue Thunder T-45's" effect to summon Thunder Option Tokens and increase the ATK of "Machine King Prototype".
