- This card can combine very well with "Deep Sea Diva".
- Because "A Legendary Ocean" downgrades the Level of all Water Monsters by one, it can make any Level 4 Water Monster able to Equip to this card.
- This card can be searched by "Sangan" and "Witch of the Black Forest".
- Additionally, it can be Summoned by "Deep Sea Diva" and "Mother Grizzly".
- Activate this card's effect after using "Brain Control" or "Mind Control" on an opponent's Level 3 or lower monster to prevent that monster from returning back to the opponent's side at the End Phase.
- Use Stygian Dirge to take control of any of your opponent's normal summoned monsters.
