- Additional Xyz Summons can become easy if some cards can be used to reduce this card's Level.
- Level 9 can be reached using cards like "Level Tuning", the Rank 9 monster examples are "Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" and "Number C15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Hunter".
- Level 8 is easy if "Mischief of the Yokai" is used, the Rank 8 monster examples are the "Gimmick Puppet Numbers".
- Additional Xyz Summons can become easy if some cards can be used to reduce this card's Level.
- This card works well in Train decks revolving around "Night Express Knight" and "Heavy Freight Train Derricrane" and allows for more spamming of Rank 10 Xyz Monsters.
- This card is surprisingly versatile in "Gishki" Decks that focus on Summoning "Gishki Zielgigas". At Level 10, it can be used as the entire Ritual Tribute for the Summon of "Zielgigas". It can also be used as an Xyz Material along with "Zielgigas" for a Rank 10 monster, such as "Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max".
- This card can be used to stall your opponent, and then as a Tribute to Summon "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames".
- Three copies of this card can quickly Summon Rank 10 Xyz Monster like "Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer" and "Number 99: Utopic Dragon".
- This card can be summoned the same turn it is set by using "Qardan the Clear-Sighted" or "Temple of the Kings". This can be useful for instantly summoning "Egyptian God Slime" or to aid a rank 10 summon.
- Chain this card to the activation of "Fissure" or "Smashing Ground" to redirect their destruction.
- Activate this during any battle involving "The Calculator" to boost its ATK by 3000.
- "Metal Reflect Slime" can be used with "Venom Swamp" and "Vengeful Bog Spirit" to make an effective defense against attacks.
- Use this card with "Staunch Defender", so your opponent would take terrible, terrible damage.
- Use this card in combination with "Imperial Custom" to have an indestructible defensive monster.
- "Healing Wave Generator" can be used, to increase your Life Points by 1000 every turn that "Healing Wave Generator" is face-up on the field.
- "Metal Reflect Slime" can't attack or inflict damage on its own, but it isn't harmless. After Summoning it, "Proof of Powerlessness" can easily be used.

- This card can be used in combination with cards such as "Feedback Warrior" to preform a quick "Xyz Summon".

- "Metal Reflect Slime" can be Tributed for "Metamorphosis" in order to Special Summon a powerful Level 10 Fusion Monster such as "Cyber End Dragon" or "Destiny End Dragoon".
- This card can be used with "Level Eater" to quickly generate Tribute/Synchro fodder until it is the right Level for Synchro Summoning another monster.
- Use this card with "Dark Strike Fighter", to deal 2000 points of effect damage.
