- Because it is treated as a "Des Frog" while on the field, it can be supported by Frog support cards, such as "Froggy Forcefield". You can also use "Des Croaking" when you have 3 of this on the field, which can be very easy to manage due to its effect.
- Special Summon this card by its effect and use "Inferno Reckless Summon". You'll be able to Special Summon 3 "Des Frog". Use "Ronintoadin" as Tribute for a monster with 2300 or more ATK, then use "Des Croaking" and OTK.
- This card is great in a Frog Monarchs Deck, because you can Special Summon it and use it as a Tribute.
- This monster is an alternate tribute fodder for Treeborn Frog at Monarch Control Decks, as long as you've got some Frogs sorted in at the Deck.
Traditional Format
- You can use this card in combination with "Substitoad"/"One for One", "Swap Frog", and any easy-to-special-summon monster to Swarm the field:
- For instance, special summon "Treeborn Frog". Normal summon Substitoad or use One for One. Tribute Treeborn Frog to special summon Swap Frog from the deck. Use Swap Frog's effect to send 1 "Ronintoadin" from your deck to your graveyard. Tribute Swap Frog and repeat until you have special summoned 3 Swap Frogs and have 3 Ronintoadins in your graveyard, and 1 "Submarine Frog" on the field. Remove the 3 Swap Frogs from your graveyard to special summon the 3 Ronintoadins, then tribute the "Ronintoadins" to special summon "Unifrogs" and/or "Submarine Frogs".
