• Combo this card with Double-Edged Sword Technique.
• Use this card after you attack with two Six Samurai monsters to push for another attack with Great Shogun Shien.
• You can also use the 2 Tributed monsters to Summon Enishi, Shien's Chancellor.
• What hurts is when you draw this card AND Great Shogun Shien in your first hand. Here are a few suggestions on how to avoid that hurting so much:

      * Have more than 1 Great Shogun Shien in your Deck. (And pray you don't draw that one in your first hand too.)
      * Use this card for discarding purposes for the likes of Lightning Vortex or Summoner Monk. 
      * Play your hand out as long as you can, and then after Great Shogun Shien gets sent to the Graveyard along with other Six Samurai monsters, activate Pot of Avarice and select him as one of your monsters to be sent back to your deck.
