Card Tips:Solemn Judgment
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "A Cat of Ill Omen" and "Guiding Ariadne".
- You can gain a quarter of your Life Points back with "Life Absorbing Machine".
- Use this card in a Deck with Life Point increase based Decks or Final Countdown Decks.
- A good card to follow up with after you use this card is "Megamorph", as your Life Points will probably be lower than your opponent's after using this card. Another good follow up card is "D.D. Crow" to banish whatever card you just destroyed. This will all but cripple most decks focused on a particular card.
- Use this card with "Meltiel, Sage of the Sky" to gain back Life Points.
- Your Life Points cannot drop to 0 by using this card. The less Life Points you have, the less costly it becomes to use this card, significantly increasing its usefulness towards the end game (ex. You can pay 4000 Life Points at the very beginning when your Life Points are at 8000). To secure an "OTK", if you can pull it off, or you can pay an amount as low as 5 to negate a crucial Summon from your opponent, opening them up for a finishing blow.
- Keeping this in mind, you can use this in place of "Seven Tools of the Bandit" when you have 1000 or less Life Points, as you can activate this card no matter what.
