• The 800 ATK gain is quite significant, and multiple "Solidarity" cards stack their boosts, so some Decks can get away with running 2 or 3 copies of this card. Theme a deck or Archetype around one Monster Type and this card will prove quite useful. Some Decks that can use it handily are listed below:
  • Zombie Decks ("Zombie World" and "DNA Surgery" will not help because "Solidarity" uses the printed Types on Monster Cards)
  • Plant Decks
    • Tributing a "Lonefire Blossom" will easily give your summoned Plant monster an attack boost.
  • Psychic Decks
    • Psychics have a decent amount of Tuners with powerful Synchros at their disposal so this is still feasible.
  • Dragon Decks
    • Dragon-type monsters are among those with the most Synchros, Tuners, Xyz Monsters, and support cards related to them.
  • Elemental HERO (sans Fusion Substitute Monsters)
  • Destiny HERO Deck
  • Six Samurai Deck
  • Blackwing Deck
  • Venom Deck
  • Spell Counter Decks (forgoing outliers like "Armor Exe" and "Dark Valkyria")
  • Worm Deck (without such support cards as "Honest")
  • Alien Deck
  • Frog Deck (as Beatdown Decks using "Junk Warrior" will have difficulty with this)
  • Fortune Lady Deck
  • Meklord Deck
  • Disaster Dragon Deck
  • Watt Deck (without "Wattaildragon")
  • Dark World Deck

  • LV Dragon Decks
  • Hieratic Deck

• "Burden of the Mighty" can further widen the ATK gap between each player's Monsters.

• Decks involving Reptiles can add "Viper's Rebirth", which also requires all of a single type of Monster in one's Graveyard.

• This card works very well with "The Immortal Bushi" in a pure Warrior deck, and even better with "Colossal Fighter".

• Tokens and Trap Monsters will not count as a monster in the Graveyard when they are destroyed.

• Tuners, Synchro Monsters and Xyz Monsters can easily ruin this card's effect. Below are some options to counteract this.
  • "Plaguespreader Zombie" may be used in non-Zombie Decks because it can Special Summon and banish itself from the Graveyard when sent there.
  • Using "Soul Release" to banish monsters of different Types from your Graveyard so that you will only have one Type.
  • Monsters like "Chaos Sorcerer" can remove monsters in your Graveyard if they are LIGHT or DARK.
  • "Skull Lair" can banish any non-conductive Monsters from your Graveyard. Be sure not to banish all the monsters of the correct Type.

Traditional Format

• This card can work well with "Sinister Serpent" in any Monster Type Deck since it can be brought to your hand during your Standby Phase. However, you'll need to play a little carefully because there will be an opening which your opponents can exploit while Sinister Serpent is in your graveyard (in a non-Reptile Deck).
