- Use "Destruct Potion" to protect this card from being removed from the field other than by destruction. "Two-Pronged Attack" can also be used.
- Cards like Staunch Defender used with Alchemy Cycle or Shrink can ensure the activation of this card's effect.
- After Synchro Summoning "Moon Dragon Quilla", use "Call of the Haunted" and "Call of the Death God" to summon this card as well.
- This effect also works vice-versa.
- Another thing you can do is Synchro Summon "Moon Dragon Quilla," then use "Descending Lost Star" when it's in the Graveyard so it's Level 5, then use Level 3 "Red Ant Azcatl" to Summon this card.
- When combined with "Moon Dragon Quilla," you can prevent your opponent from attacking by using The Dark Door.
- When "Sun Dragon Inti" is Special Summoned by Moon Dragon Quilla you can use "Temple of the Sun" to increase the ATK of "Sun Dragon Inti".
- It's extremely difficult, but both this card and "Moon Dragon Quilla" can be Summoned in one turn:
- 1) Special Summon a monster like Cyber Dragon, Oracle of the Sun etc.
- 2) Activate One for One and Special Summon Supay.
- 3) Normal Summon Red Ant Azcatl.
- 4) Activate Instant Fusion and Fusion Summon a Level 5 monster, like Ojama Knight.

- 2) Activate One for One and Special Summon Supay.
- 3) normal summon Red Ant Azcatl.
