- Use "Destruct Potion" to protect this card from being removed from the field other than by destruction. "Two-Pronged Attack" can also be used.
- Cards like "Staunch Defender" used with "Alchemy Cycle" or "Shrink" can ensure the activation of this card's effect.
- After Synchro Summoning "Moon Dragon Quilla", use "Call of the Haunted" and "Call of the Reaper" to summon this card as well.
- This effect also works vice-versa.
- Another thing you can do is Synchro Summon "Moon Dragon Quilla," then use "Descending Lost Star" when it's in the Graveyard so it's Level 5, then use Level 3 "Fire Ant Ascator" to Summon this card.
- After you Synchro Summon "Moon Dragon Quilla", if "Level Eater" is in your graveyard, use its effect to select "Moon Dragon Quilla" and Special Summon "Level Eater so it becomes Level 5, then use Level 3 "Fire Ant Ascator" to Summon this card.
