- Cards like Staunch Defender used with Alchemy Cycle or Shrink can ensure the activation of this card's effect.
- After Synchro Summoning Moonlight Dragon Quilla, use Call of the Haunted and Call of the Death God to summon this card as well.
- This effect also works vice-versa.
- Another thing you can do is Synchro Summon "Moonlight Dragon Quilla," then use "Descending Lost Star" when it's in the Graveyard so it's Level 5, then use Level 3 "Red Ant Azcatl" to Summon this card.
- When combined with "Moonlight Dragon Quilla," you can prevent your opponent from attacking by using The Dark Door.
- When "Sun Dragon Inti" is Special Summoned by Moonlight Dragon Quilla you can use "Temple of the Sun" to increase the ATK of "Sun Dragon Inti".
- Use Dark Room of Nightmare to deal extra damage to your opponent's Life Points.
