- This card can allow for more flexible plays in a "Constellar" deck. Summon "Constellar Leonis" then use his effect to summon "Constellar Sheratan" Then use "Tannhäuser Gate" to make their levels equal to level 6, allowing for you to Xyz Summon either "Constellar Ptolemy M7", "Number 25: Force Focus" or "Photon Strike Bounzer".
- One highly effective combo is to use "Tour Guide From the Underworld" to summon a monster with 1000 or less ATK (such as "Sangan") and then use this, which can set up an easy and fast Rank 6 Xyz Summon.
- Another useful combo is to use Deep Sea Diva bringing Atlantean Heavy Infantry use Tannhauser Gate and Xyz Summon Abyss Dweller, detach Infantry and get to destroy a face-up card, or go for Skystarray and make a rank 5 Xyz Summon.
- Use this card to quickly Xyz Summon "Number 9: Dyson Sphere" using, for example, "Solar Wind Jammer" (that can be easily Special Summoned) and "Dark Catapulter" or "Gear Golem the Moving Fortress".
- Note that "Solar Wind Jammer"'s level is variable, so you can use a level 1, 2 or 3 Machine-Type monster, if some turns had passed.
- In a similar manner, you can use the effect of "Rescue Rabbit" to summon 2 Level 4 or lower Normal Monsters with an ATK of 1000 or lower and activate "Tannhäuser Gate" to gain easy access to a Rank 8 Xyz Monster, such as "Thunder End Dragon" and "Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis".
- This card can be easily used in a Destiny HERO deck to make "Number 9: Dyson Sphere" by using "Destiny HERO - Malicious" and one of the level 3 Destiny HEROes such as "Destiny HERO - Doom Lord".
- Before you acticvate this card, activate "Alchemy Cycle" to make all your monsters eligible targets for this card, in terms of the ATK restriction.
- "Debris Dragon" works well with this card if you revive weak dragon you can immediately Xyz summon high ranking monsters. Revive "Totem Dragon" to Xyz summon "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum" or "Golem Dragon" for "Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis".
- Or revive "Stardust Xiaolong" to Synchro Summon "Trident Dragion", or Xyz Summon various Rank 5 monsters.
- This card can work well with "Fog King" and "Jester Confit" to Xyz Summon Rank 8 monsters such as Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings.
- By targeting "Spellbook Magician of Prophecy" and either "Temperance of Prophecy" or "Amores of Prophecy", you can easily Xyz Summon "Empress of Prophecy".
- "Black Salvo" also works well with this card if you have DARK monsters with ATK of 1000 or lower such as "Blocker" to easy Xyz summon Number 11: Big Eye.
- This card can be used with "Message in a Bottle", which makes all monsters summoned by it have 0 ATK, to gain quick access to high Ranking Xyz monsters and turn the tides if you are in a tight situation. Just make sure to at least summon 2 monsters with the same type, or have another monster that you can work with.
- This card can be a temporarily offensive boost in a "Fortune Lady" Deck (best targets are two "Fortune Lady Wind"s.)
