Traditional Format[edit]
- This card can be used to equip "Mist Valley Thunderbird" to "Mist Valley Apex Avian". From the following turn onwards, it can be returned to the hand as cost for the negating effect of "Apex Avian", which will trigger the effect of "Thunderbird" to Special Summon itself and enable "Apex Avian" to negate at least 1 card/effect per chain.
- Despite preventing monsters with the same name as the equipped one to be Special Summoned during the same turn, this card does not prevent their effects from being activated. Thus, this card can be used to equip monsters like "Photon Orbital", "Dragunity Corsesca", "Gwenhwyfar, Queen of Noble Arms", etc. Likewise, a monster with a Countinuous Effect will apply its effect, such as "Dragon Buster Destruction Sword", "Dragunity Brandistock", etc.
- This card can be used to equip "Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu", so that when the equipped monster leaves the field, "Aslla piscu" can activate its effect to destroy all face-up monsters the opponent controls and deal damage.
- You can use this card to equip "Dragon Buster Destruction Sword" or "Wizard Buster Destruction Sword" to activate its one-sided floodgate effects, even if you did not control a "Buster Blader" monsters.
