- This card appears in the artworks of "Descending Lost Star" and "Thunder Lord of Mist Valley ".
- This was the first "Ally of Justice" monster to be released in English.
- Castator has a 'prototype' version called Ally of Justice Core-Destroy.
- "Ally Mind" is embedded in the head. Ironically, it can't be used to synchro summon this card unless its level is decreased, since both cards are level 5.
- This card, along with Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier and Mist Wurm were all short printed in Hidden Arsenal, so you would only find 1 of each, or even 2, in a 36 pack per 1 box.
- Considering this monster is on the artwork of Descending Lost Star, and possibly considering the relationship between Synchro monsters and the alignment of stars, "Catastor" is likely derived from "catasterism," the act of immortalizing something as a constellation of stars.
