- This monster has two counterparts, "Crimson Ninja" and "White Ninja", and a "Dragon Ninja" counterpart, "Blue Dragon Ninja". Unlike its counterparts, its English name doesn't tell its color, which is blue.
- This card was among the first 5 Effect Monsters. The other 4 were "Exodia the Forbidden One", "Man-Eater Bug", "Reaper of the Cards" and "Hane-Hane".
- This monster appears in "Sealing Ceremony of Mokuton" , "Sealing Ceremony of Suiton" and "Barrier Ninjitsu Art of Hazy Extinguishing".
- This monster has the same symbol on its shoulders as "Lady Ninja Yae".
