Card Trivia:Axe of Despair
- The international artwork version of this axe appears in the artworks of "Rose Curse" and "Crossline Counter".
- For unknown reasons, this card has appeared with its edited TCG artwork in the Japanese versions of both the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's animes.
- Though the face has been removed for censorship in the TCG version of this card, the red outline around the axe has retained its shape from the OCG version, which is noticeably jagged around the head of the axe.
- This card's first release in Japan has the Equip Spell icon in the middle of the text that states its identity as a Spell Card.
