- The Bandai version of this card is Level 6 and has 2400 ATK, whereas the Konami version is Level 4 and has 1700 ATK.
- This card's Japanese name (also used in the manga) is a reference to the Greek monster, the Minotaur, which is also a humanoid bull monster.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories, when this monster is Summoned, it instantly discards all Pyro-Type monster from the opponent's hand.
- For some reason, in videogames such as Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses, the 3-D model of this monster had its midsection recolored black.
- This card can be seen in the Tablet of Lost Memories as one of Priest Seto's monsters.
