- This card's artwork bears a resemblance to "Double Cloth Armor", only not equipped.
- This card is one of two "Legendary Dragon"-related cards not to be released in the OCG/TCG; the other one being "Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon".
- It is, however, the only card not to be released in the OCG/TCG that appeared in the original dub, as "Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon" was only stated to be a new monster in the English dub.
- Furthermore, it is technically possible to create "Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon" by simply equipping "Tyrant Burst Dragon" to "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", whereas no version of "Big Bang Dragon Blow" (or anything with its effect) exists or is remotely possible in the real card game.
