- This card has the highest Level with the lowest ATK among the "Blackwings" monsters.
- This is the first and currently only "Blackwing" that is a LIGHT monster.
- This card has a very similar effect to "Phantom of Chaos".
- This card's name, Aurora, is a reference to Aurora Borealis, also known as the "Northern Lights".
- Also, the "Northern Lights" appears in the background of this card.
- This Monster's stance is similar to "Yata-Garasu"'s.
- This card could also been seen as Crow's counter to the effects of the "Machine Emperors", similar to Yusei's "Shooting Star Dragon" and Jack's "Scar-Red Nova Dragon". This can be seen through it's effect of needing 1 "Blackwing" tuner and 1 non-tuner, which are needed to Synchro Summon, but, because it is an effect monster, it cannot be targeted by the "Emperors".
