- "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is one of the only two cards in the game to have four different types of artwork. (The other one is "Dark Magician".)
- Blue-Eyes White Dragon is one of the only two cards in the game to have an official Chinese version, the other being Dark Magician.
- This card is the cover card for TCG expansion, Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon.
- "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is the strongest Normal Monster in the game.
- Some people say that this card was the first Yu-Gi-Oh! designed card by Kazuki Takahashi, although this is not confirmed.
- This card has three counterparts "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" and "White Night Dragon", and a Toon version, "Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon".
- "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" is featured in the artwork of "Dimension Explosion".
