• This card has similar effect as "Vanity's Fiend".

• This is the second "Cactus" monster, with "Cactus Fighter" being the first, both of them were released as TCG Onlys.

• A bouncer is a guard that keeps unauthorized people out of bars or other establishments, or helps control rowdy patrons in said establishments. "Cactus Bouncer's" effect seems to be themed after this, keeping monsters from being special summoned to the field.

• This monster is based on the Peyote

• Although this card is related to Cactus Fighter it also cancels its ability to special summon a Needle Token.
