This monster is based on the Dogū, a form of statuary common in the Jomon Period.
- Specifically, this monster is based on "Shakōki-dogū," as evidenced by its design and Japanese name. These Dogū are among the most iconic variety, and are named for the structures on their face (which appears on this monster's torso) which resemble [[wikipedia:Inuit Snow Goggles}|Inuit Snow Goggles]].

This monster's chest design is similar to the one exhibited on the head of "Orichalcos Shunoros".

This monster's effect is similar to that of "Enraged Battle Ox", "Uminotaurus", "Lion Alligator", and "Cross-Sword Beetle".
- In addition, this card shares its ATK, DEF and Level with "Enraged Battle Ox" and "Uminotaurus", while also sharing its Attribute with the former.
