- Specifically, this monster is based on shakōki-dogū, as evidenced by its design and Japanese name. These dogū are among the most iconic variety, and are named for the structures on their face (which appears on this monster's torso) which resemble Inuit snow goggles.
- This monster's chest design is similar to the one exhibited on the head of "Orichalcos Shunoros", which is also based on dogū.
- This card shares its ATK, DEF, Level, an effect as "Enraged Battle Ox" and "Uminotaurus", and even has the same Attribute as the former.
