This monster's appearance is based on the appearance of "Harpy Lady" in two chapters of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga.
Its torso (from the waist down to the legs) and its left arm wielding "Electro-Whip" are based on a panel of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 115 (Duelist Duel 56): "The Beautiful Trap!", showing "Harpy Lady" equipped with "Electro-Whip" alongside "Harpies' Pet Dragon", right after the latter was Summoned.
Its head, hair, upper right arm, and chest are based on a panel of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 116 (Duelist Duel 57): "Find Yourself!", showing "Harpy Lady" with "Shadow of Eyes" being used on it.
Of note is that "Harpie Lady" cannot normally be equipped with "Electro-Whip" in the TCG/OCG.
This card's Japanese name ("Harpie Lady Cyber Bondage") is a reference to the Japanese name of "Cyber Shield" ("Cyber Bondage").
This card's ATK (1800) is based on the ATK of "Harpy Lady" (1300) increased by "Cyber Shield"; however, its DEF (1300) is lower than that of "Harpie Lady" (1400).
