Card Trivia:Dark Crusader
- This card bears a strong resemblance to Ganondorf, the central recurring antagonist from The Legend of Zelda video game series. Note the black armor, the big sword and orange hair. He also bears a resemblance to Ganondorf's undead counterpart, Phantom Ganon. The art style of his head also makes him resemble Ghost Rider.
- This card may be a counterpart of "Blade Knight", whose ATK can also be increased by manipulating the cards in your hand.
- This monster may also be a counterpart of "Field-Commander Rahz", as both are support for Warrior and DARK Decks, respectively.
- This card's effect is similar to that of "Vanguard of the Dragon" and also "Destiny Hero - Dunker".
- This card appears in the artwork of "Reaction Summon".
- This card may be the Dark counterpart of "Absolute Crusader".
- If this is true, it is the only dark counterpart to come out long before its normal form.
