  • The explosion in this card's artwork is similar to those featured on the "Reactor" monsters. Both this card and the "Reactors" are used by Greiger in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime and are depicted as partly-humanoid machines resembling aircrafts. "Trap Reactor・Y FI" is even used in tandem with "Black Salvo", another one of Greiger's cards, to make this card, further establishing the link between this card and the "Reactor" archetype.
  • This card's effect is an advanced version of "Cannon Soldier's" effect.
  • This card is the first and currently the only Synchro Monster to become Forbidden.
