- The explosion in this card's artwork is similar to those featured on the Reactor monsters. Both this card and the Reactors are used by Greiger in the 5D's anime and are depicted as partly-humanoid machines resembling aircrafts. Trap Reactor・Y FI is even used in tandem with Black Salvo, another one of Greiger's cards, to make this card, further establishing the link between this card and the Reactor archetype.
- This card's effect is an advanced version of Cannon Soldier's effect.
- This card is the first Synchro Monster to be Forbidden.
- This is the fourth and most recent card to go from being Unlimited to Forbidden instantly. The previous three were Time Seal, Chaos Sorcerer and Cyber-Stein, in that order.
