- This is the one of only four Darkness monsters to be made into a real card. The others are "Darkness Neosphere", "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon", and "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon".
- This card has the same ATK, Type and Attribute as "Infernity Destroyer", the only other Destroyer monster in the OCG or TCG (so far). Both also have effects to inflict extra damage.
- This card looks like a more monstrous version of "Summoned Skull". Ironically, "Darkness Destroyer" has less ATK.
- This card also resembles "The Violator" from the Spawn comic book series.
